Job Description
Godolphin is currently recruiting for the position of Horsebox Driver. The successful applicant will be responsible for the transportation and care of horses on international and national trips, taking into account that the horses’ welfare is paramount.
Qualifications
Applicants must hold:
- A current and valid HGV licence (Category C)
- Level 3 Award in the Principles of transporting horses by road on long journeys (formerly ACET)
- Valid Drivers (Tachograph) Card
- Valid Drivers Qualification Card (DQC)
Desirable:
- Certificate of Competence for Drivers and Attendants (EU)
In addition to the above previous experience of working in the equine industry is essential.
You will be able to provide excellent customer service to all those you come into contact with, internally and externally and have a good understanding of the current EU transport and vehicle legislation making sure the vehicle is safe to be on the road.
